The Designbox Tool Window

The Designbox Window stores all your working Designs organized into shareable Design Palettes. This means that you can drag-n-drop finished, rich content designs directly onto your design surface. And after you made design changes that you like, you simply drag your newly designed control back to the Designbox to store it away for re-use.

The Design Gallery

The Design Gallery is the Tool Window you've been waiting for! It tracks your selected control on your design surface and shows you previews of designs. A single click applies that design to the control.

Model Driven Development

Traditionally, when you design controls, you lose the intentions behind your property values and design choices. With Designbox and it's design based approach, you capture shareable design specifications that are stored as Xml. You author and document designs and design standards that you can manage and reuse in future applications.  This also allows you to capture consistent corporate standards and best practices.  And since Designbox converts WinForm controls to Xml, it opens the door to converting your WinForm applications to WPF and Xaml.
